No, l’unica vaghissima connessione fra il Lecco e i Gradinata Nord è la scelta del nome da un biglietto della curva lecchese, ad opera del primo cantante (frequentatore della suddetta gradinata), ed è una cosa che appartiene alla primissima formazione del gruppo: adesso non abbiamo più supporters blucelesti in formazione. Non siamo quindi dei portavoce della tifoseria lecchese.

Non siete skins, con l’Oi! avete ormai solo una lontana parentela, ok parlate di calcio e di tifo, ma anche di ragazze, motociclette, marinaretti e vita notturna, vi vestite spesso in maniera improponibile…insomma cosa cazzo volete fare e chi vi credete di essere?!
Siamo una Rock band, né più né meno! Siamo quello che uscirebbe da un’ammucchiata fra Nabat, Rose Tattoo, Motley Crue, Business, Hanoi Rocks, Turbonegro e Motorhead.

Are you called Gradinata Nord because you’re all fans of the Lecco football club? Are you meant to be the voice of its supporters?
No. The only remote link between Lecco and Gradinata Nord is the band’s name, inspired by the terrace housing the supporters of this team. It was chosen by the band’s first singer (who used to visit this terrace) and it’s something that only has to do with our very first line-up. There are no longer any Lecco fans in our ranks. Hence, we in no way represent Lecco supporters.

So you’re not skins, you’ve only got a vague connection to Oi!, you talk about football and hooliganism in your songs, but also about girls, motorcycles, sailor boys and the nightlife, and you often dress in the most unlikely ways... what the hell are you after and who do you think you are?!
